A conference to discuss the “Vote By Mail” election reform

This one-day interactive conference will explore all aspects Vote By Mail, also known as Vote At Home. Attendees will enjoy speakers and panels on the following topics:

  • Quantitative evidence from VBM jurisdictions
  • What we can learn from high-absentee systems
  • VBM on the ground: the perspectives of campaign workers and election officials
  • How VBM interacts with other election reforms
  • The pitfalls of VBM
  • Additional panel topics TBA

VBMcon will bring together a mix of election reform advocates, academics, election officials, campaign professionals, and journalists. Vote By Mail is an election reform ripe for greater exploration. This conference will allow the gathered community to understand the existing evidence, discuss VBM’s benefits and pitfalls, and create an agenda for research and reform in the future.

 Come ready to participate! The final two hours of the conference will be reserved for breakout discussions, “un-conference” style.
